Deputy Provincial Grand Master

W.Bro William A Divall

Known to everyone as Bill and born London 1958.  

Bill lives in Shirley, Surrey, with wife Helen and their daughter Charlotte - oh, and we musn't forget the two cats. Bill is a partner in a practice of independent financial advisers, having jointly established the practice in 1988.

Initiated into Valentia Lodge, London on 10th July 1987. Exalted into Royal Arch on 19th May 1990, Advanced in Mark on 18th October 1990, Bill is also a member of the RAM and Rose Croix.    

As for Masonic honours: Bill was awarded Grand Rank in the Craft in 2006, receiving appointment to Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. In the Royal Arch, Bill was delighted to be honoured by the ME First Grand Principle with the active appointment of Grand Standard Bearer in 2008.

Grand Rank promotions in the Mark from Grand Steward to Grand Junior Deacon 2008. RAM Grand Rank in 2007 and 30th degree in Rose Croix 2011.

However, all that said, his comments to us were "I enjoy my Freemasonry, I enjoy almost every aspect of it, but particularly I enjoy being with and associating with my fellow brethren - over time I have put a great deal in to my Freemasonry, but I have been greatly rewarded, with friendship, laughter and smiles, there's been good times and not so good times. However, there's still more to do and I look forward to my new appointment as Deputy Provincial Grand Master"
