Consecration of Namik Kemal Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.2001 - 23 February, 2019

The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro David Ashbolt, assisted by members of his Executive, will be Consecrating a new Mark Lodge with a Turkish theme.

It is named after Namık Kemal who was an Ottoman democrat, writer, intellectual, reformer, journalist, playwright, and political activist who was influential in the formation of the Young Ottomans and their struggle for governmental reform in the Ottoman Empire during the late Tanzimat period. After the Consecration, the Lodge will then proceed to Advance a number of Turkish brethren.
