Abernethy Lodge No. 569, 22nd Jan 2026.
On Thursday 22 January, the Provincial Senior Grand Warden, W. Bro. Scott Cargill P.G.J.D., led a Provincial Delegation to Abernethy Lodge held at Mark Masons’ Hall.
In a very busy evening, the Royal Ark Mariner Lodge installed Bro. Prakash Patel as the Worshipful Commander in a very heartfelt ceremony – assisted ably by the Past Commanders including the Provincial Grand Master who is a member of this lodge.
After a quick turnaround of the temple, W. Bro. Simon Dodd, the Escorting Officer, announced that the Provincial Grand Master’s representative was without and requested admittance along with a plethora of Provincial Grand Lodge Officers. The Provincial Senior Grand Warden was welcomed before the Worshipful Master, assisted ably by his officers, advanced Bro. Parsa Aghamohammadi into this friendly degree to great aplomb.
The brethren then retired to the Euston Room for the Provincial Grand Master’s customary address to the haggis and a sumptuous Festive Board.
