Irenic Lodge No. 899, 21st March 2026.
Thursday 19th March 2026, saw the Worship Commander of Irenic Lodge No 899, Seirios Kokkalis, accompanied by four other Past Commanders of the lodge, as his escort and protection detail, attend the Guild of Freeman Lodge No 647.
After giving the appropriate report on the outer door, the Ark and its accompanying escort were admitted in due form and welcomed by the brethren present.
The Ark was presented to the Worshipful Commander, W Bro Peter Willson, with appropriate words and thanks for the welcome received.
Photographic evidence of the transfer was recorded, and the escort were invited to remain in attendance for the following Mark ceremony.
In the Mark degree, Bro Kieran Buckley was advanced in an excellent ceremony, managed carefully by the Worship Master, by getting W Bro Gary Munday and W Bro Graham Tarran to undertake the work for him (Apparently, when you are 90 years old, 91 next month, you are allowed to use your delegation skills widely!)
There followed a very convivial festive board, the wine flowed and the Provincial Grand Master popped in to raise a glass with the brethren and two Brothers from America.
