University of London Lodge No. 1389, 6th May 2026.
The May meeting of University of London Mark Lodge 1389 took place on Wednesday at Mark Masons’ Hall, London.
Following the RAM meeting where Rabbi Zvi Solomons was elected as Worshipful Commander Elect, the Mark Lodge convened to perform the main event of the evening, the advancement of Trevor Bates to the degree of a Mark Master Mason.
Members performed an exceptional ritual under the supervision of Worshipful Master, WBro Brian Urwin and Director of Ceremonies, WBro Alan Higginson, with Bro James Le Grice providing a flawless rendition of the Working Tools.
Following the successful meeting, the brethren retired to the bar for refreshments followed by a superb festive board celebrating the end to a great evening.
During the festive board, WBro Alan Higginson was presented with a gold tie clip by the Worshipful Commander, for his invaluable service as DC and Almoner over the last few years.
