It really was a most entertaining and fun evening which saw an Elevation of Bro John Ringer into the RAM in fine style by WBro Clive Pemble. This was followed by the Installation of WBro Tim MacAndrews in the Mark. There were presentations of Grand Lodge Certificates by the Deputy ProvGM, WBro Tom Quinn, which was undertaken with his usual flair and watched over by none other than the Pro Grand Master, M W Bro Raymond John Smith. The Travelling Keystone was presented to the Lodge by a deputation from Foundation Lodge 921 in due style and ceremony and was very well received by all. We were made privy to the origin of the Travelling Keystone and if you want to know, then why not get it presented to your Lodge? WBro Carl Nixon, who has stood down as Supremo of the Travelling Keystone for over ten years, was thanked by everyone for all his hard work. He has passed the mantle on to WBro Edoardo El Attrache who was also present on the night. We all wish him the very best. The Furniture Makers Hall was certainly at capacity but still managed to serve a most delicious meal for our enjoyment.
The whole evening was one for the scrapbook. Thank you very much, Onslow, for your warmth and hospitality!
