APGM Cliff Sturt and his Delegation on his inaugural visit to Orchestral Lodge on 5th September 2016

It was APGM Cliff Sturt’s maiden voyage as one of our newly appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Masters. No stranger to Senior Offices both in Freemasonry and in his working life, he soon had everyone completely at their ease and delivered the Address to the Brethen in an exemplary manner. Accompanied by all save one of the current Assistant Provincial Grand Directors of Ceremonies, other Officers of Provincial and Grand Rank, the evening was under the watchful eye of W Bro Wes Hollands, Prov Grand Director of Ceremonies who certainly led by example, several times in fact! This was the final time that the new ADCs would be together as from here on in they will be taking the role of Escorting Officers and we wish them all the very best for the coming year.

We were more than delighted to see W Bro Cy be inducted into the chair of this wonderful Lodge and the warmth and sincerity in his appointment and investiture of his Officers was tremendous. We were treated to an excellent Festive Board where we were joined by the PGM RW Bro David Ashbolt, Deputy PGM Tom Quinn and W Bro David Stiff all of whom had been at the GMLOI and had expressed the wish to dine with us all.

A thoroughly enjoyable occasion.
