Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

APGM WBro. Cliff Sturt visits Panmure Lodge No.139 on 22nd February

W. Bro. Cliff Sturt visited Panmure lodge last year as the Provincial Grand Senior Warden, on this occasion. On this occasion he attended in his capacity as a newly appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Master. The APGM together with a small number of provincial grand officers were welcomed by members of the lodge who had arranged for W. Bro. Ray Hudson to visit and deliver a lecture in the absence of any work in the temple. The theme of W. Bro. Ray’s lecture was the numerous links between the Craft and Mark degrees. This well researched and delivered lecture proved to be a most thought provoking and interesting lecture which was very well received by all who witnessed it. After the usual photos the Brethren retired to a most convivial Festive Board.

Pammure Lodge has been designated as a “Lodge of Special Opportunity” as described on this website’s Home page and, through this article, the PGM would like to take this opportunity to reinforce the message – that there are a few Lodges in our Province where extra support is needed – not just from new and aspiring Officers but from experienced Mark Masons too. Becoming a Joining Member of one of these Lodges need not be regarded as a life time commitment and would certainly be viewed as support for the Province in general and the selected Lodge in particular. If you yourself are interested or if you know of a Brother in the happy position to be able to support another Unit, then please contact or ask him to contact, the Panmure Lodge Secretary Kevin Murphy smurfman52@gmail.com
