Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

DepPGM Tom Quinn and his Delegation visit Egerton of Tatton Lodge

What a great afternoon we experienced with the Members and Guests of Egerton Of Tatton Lodge. It was great to see those we haven’t seen for some time and to meet the new Members and new Delegates as well. The Worshipful Master kindly allowed the DepPGM, Tom Quinn to take the Chair for the main section of the Installation and as one would expect by now, he was damn good! Everything went exceptionally well, with sterling and faultless contributions from Alan Underhill and Graeme McCormack, ably supported by the Lodge Officers. It all made for a brilliant day and one we hope will be repeated in the future.

Whilst introducing his Delegation, the DepPGM was especially pleased to announce that W. Bro. Meharban Jutlla is to be awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Cancer Research UK’s “Flame of Hope Awards” in recognition of the support he gives to Cancer Research in terms of time and commitment towards organising fund raising events. Meharban is an inspiring example of a Freemason working in the wider community for the general good and has truly “won the esteem of his fellow men”.    Also in the Delegation was W. Bro. Stuart Boyd, the newly appointed Senior Warden of West Lancs. Province of MMM.  Stuart has many business interests in and around London and as a keen Freemason, we may be seeing him at more of our Mark Meetings.

There was a worrying aspect when we found out that no less than 5 members of that race of people who live in Scottishland were present and we began to consider that this may have been a precursor to a take-over bid! Apparently it was totally coincidental – for those of you who believe in coincidences, that is! – and the rest of the meeting and festive board was enjoyed by everyone present.

Thank you to all the Members and Guests of Egerton of Tatton. Please may we come back?
