Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Guild of Freemen Mark Lodge No 647 Installation Meeting 2nd January 2014

Less than two months after celebrating their Centenary, The Guild of Freemen Lodge of Mark Master Masons, were honoured to be the first Masonic unit or indeed any organisation to hold a meeting or function at The Clerkenwell Centre, 61 Lever Street, London, EC1V 3AR.
The Lodge members and their visitors were warmly welcomed by all the staff at the Centre and whilst being a new venue, no one had any trouble in finding their way to the bar area.
The meeting and was graced by the attendance of R W Bro David Ashbolt Provincial Grand Master and the Lodge was also pleased to receive the Chairman and Directors of the Centre.
After the meeting which saw W Bro Stan Brown inducted as Worshipful Master of the Lodge, the Brethren retired to the bar area.
In keeping with tradition of The Guild of Freemen Lodge of Mark Master Masons Installation Meeting, the Brethren were led by a Scottish Piper and the sound of bagpipes from the bar area to the dining room were an excellent Burns Supper was served.
The Haggis was piped into the dining room to rapturous applause and we understand the chef is now recovering well from witnessing W Bro Paul Muir’s address to the Haggis!
