Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Happy 25th Birthday Provincial Party 28 November 2015

The 25th Birthday celebrations of the formation of the Mark Province of London were undertaken in great style last night at the Imperial Hotel, Russell Square. With well over 200 people present it was an evening of great fun and relaxation led by our Provincial Grand Master, David Ashbolt and the lovely Vanda. The meal was exceptional and there was a fantastic ambience throughout the whole of the Elizabethan Suite.

The PGM was presented with a Tapestry showing the Arms of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of London, mounted on a timber Keystone and produced by David Stiff’s wife, Janet and which was an absolute joy to behold.

We were treated to some excellent music throughout dinner and we then proceeded to the entertainment. The Sabrage Team attended ostensibly to allow our PGM the opportunity of at least levelling Vanda’s achievement at the Provincial Officers Mess Dinner where she “de-corked” the bottle in one fell stroke whereas David only managed it in three!
The stage was set and Vanda again to post and yet again made a single clean strike to rapturous applause. Time for the PGM who obviously has been practising to equal his wife’s achievement and not lose out on the applause. (it was pointed out to him by one braver than I that Vanda was still in the lead 2 – 1!!)

There followed a number of brave souls who also wanted to take part and they are within this Album.

The Raffle was drawn and the main prize of a Villa in Portugal for a week was won by a young lady who was presented with her prize by the PGM. Dancing followed and the remainder of the evening was enjoyed with the same amount of pleasure as the foregoing.

Fantastic evening out. If you missed it, there will be more to come!!
