Henniker 315 showed their mettle again on Friday 8th May when they undertook a Triple Advancement. The whole Ceremony was conducted by V W Bro Keith Florence in an exemplary manner (as you would expect). We were treated to the company of three APGMs, one APGM (Designate), one Deputy Grand Sword Bearer (I wonder who that was?), plus W Bros Robbie Naismith, Attilio Grandani, Niall Corbett, Simon Polkinhorne plus a further Eight visitors all of whom were warmly welcomed. The three Advancees; Bros Trevor, Paul and Bill were soon in no doubt why the Mark is know as the Friendly Degree and a great time was had by all.

After the meeting there as a symbolic “cheque” presentation with a real one being presented to V W Bro Jerry Gangadeen by the WM, Mick Melia which brings the total amount raised by the Henniker Raffle to a not inconsiderable £10,000.00. The Raffle was drawn, winners notified over the weekend and most of the 26 prizes delivered!

Lots of prizes were won and presented. Other winners who were absent will be contacted and arrangements made for them to collect their prizes.

The winner of the TOP PRIZE A 50 ins Colour TV was Mrs. T James (no relation to the organiser Chris James).

The winner of the SECOND PRIZE A Day Trip on a boat on the River Thames for 10 people was Calum Neilson.
