Despite working closely with the Water Authority and other agencies to deploy temporary drainage provision that would allow the 86 St. James to re-open, we have been unable to mitigate the risk of flooding to an acceptable level. Consequently, and very reluctantly, Mark Masons’ Hall will remain closed to Masonic meetings up to and including Wednesday, 12 December 2018.
We will, however, re-open on Thursday 13 December for Masonic Meetings, existing Carvery Luncheon bookings, and bar services. Regrettably, Masonic units meeting at MMH will need to make alternative arrangements for dining – this includes any units that have booked a Carvery meal following their meeting.
All other catering facilities shall remain closed for the foreseeable future.
We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to resume full service as soon as possible.
At the RAM Grand Rank Investiture on Tuesday 11th December, the Grand Secretary, RW Bro Ryan Williams added to the above Service Update by stating that the on-going repairs could affect the provision of meals well into January. Masonic meetings will still be held but dining is, at present, on hold.
Please watch the website for further updates as and when available.
