Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Mark Awareness Evening a big success!

On Tuesday 14 November the Mark Province of London combined a Lodge meeting with a presentation to prospective new members for Advancement into our Mark Degree. The host Lodge for this “Awareness Event” was United Service Lodge No. 489, where the business of the day was to receive a visit from the Lodge’s Visiting Officer – W. Bro. Marios Stylianides A.P.G.M. and his large Delegation and then Install the new Master – W. Bro. David Baruch. The Installation ceremony was conducted by the P.G.M. R.W. Bro. Tom Quinn.

After the Lodge was closed an invited audience of over 30 Chapter Companions was welcomed into Grand Temple and given a presentation by all the London Mark Executive to tell them about the ‘Magic of the Mark’. After this well-received presentation, the Brethren were given a guided tour of 86 St James’s Street and then all repaired to a traditional carvery meal. Overall the evening was regarded as a great success and the vast majority of the invited guests will become candidates for Advancement over the next few months. W. Bro. Niall Johnston, Secretary for United Service Lodge, is to be congratulated and thanked for all his efforts in arranging the event and thanks are also due to the Mark Brethren of London for bringing along such a large number of fellow masons, to be introduced as potential candidates for our wonderful Order.
