Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

PGM David Ashbolt visits Equator to present 50 Year Certificates to the Father of the Lodge, Chottulal Damji Pattni

When the PGM, David Ashbolt, and the members of the Delegation visited Equator it was, as well as seeing Sanjay Gohil become Worshipful Master, to pay tribute to a great character in Mark Masonry – Chottu Pattni, whose health has not been very good of late. He was to receive from the PGM three Certificates; one from the Supreme Grand Chapter of Scotland, and two from Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons (one for Mark and one for Royal ArK Mariner). All of which were celebrating 50+ years of service in each.

The PGM delivered an overview of the year 1967 and then went on to let us all know just how much Chottu has done for the members of the Mark Degree as well as Craft, Chapter and RAM. It was a most emotional delivery which was enthusiastically received by everyone.

The Installation saw W Bro Sanjay Gohil take the chair in Equator for the first time in a ceremony that was truly excellent. The Installing Master split the Ceremony with W Bro Tanna who undertook his section with great delivery and sincerity, as did the Installing Master.

Afterwards we all dined on a very good meal and the evening passed far too quickly.

Thank you, Equator. Another one for us all to remember.

Chris
