Provincial Golf Day a huge success!
The London Mark Provincial Golf Day took place on 21 September at Leatherhead Golf Club. It was arranged by Simon McCarthy who managed, amongst other achievements, to keep the rain off us for most of the day.
The individual ladies winner was Brid Hancock (with 30 points) and the men’s Lui Hui (with 42 points). The team competition was won by Simon McCarthy, Bob Hancock, Brid Hancock and Bradley Collings.
Albatross Lodge was well represented and they picked up a non Mark Mason visitor to be Advanced at their next meeting, and also announced a return golfing weekend visit to Le Touquet next July.
There was an auction, a raffle and a heads and tails all yielding £600 for the MBF.
Well done to everyone who took contributed in some way to making the day such a great success.
