Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

Provincial Grand Officers’ Mess

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the Deputy Grand Master – Raymond John Smith and the Assistant Grand Master -John Herbert Prizeman to the Officers Mess. In the company of Our Provincial Grand Master, David Ashbolt and a brace of APGMs (Henry & Tim) it was an afternoon and evening of relaxed and friendly fellowship. We were graced by the presence of many Wives, Girlfriends and Partners all of whom seemed to enjoy what we, sometimes, take for granted. The Fun!.

Even when your intrepid Paparazzi was wounded in the Sabrage, all was not lost. Faster than Superman changing in a phone box, our PGM’s lovely wife, Vanda, rallied to the cause. Seamlessly taking over the shooting of the remaining photographs she produced a great result for all. Thanks to Dr Mac Speake who was on hand to offer his invaluable assistance with the patient. Thanks, Mac.

Please take a little bit of time just to browse through these photos and, hopefully, you will be reminded of an excellent evening spent in convivial company. Should you want a High Resolution picture (or several) sent to you, just make a note of the picture numbers and contact us via the Website to request yours by email.

After the sabrage, RW Bro. Raymond John Smith, Deputy Grand Master, accompanied by the Assistant Grand Master – John Prizeman, and our own Provincial Grand Master – David Ashbolt and their Ladies, were among the many who witnessed yet another brilliant display of Beating the Retreat from the Band of the Honourable Artillery Company. Everyone was moved by the wonderful music and precision Marching which we were treated to.

A great success and a fitting way to congratulate the Deputy Grand Master and the Assistant Grand Master on their promotions in June to Pro Grand Master and Deputy Grand Master.
