Thistle Lodge No.8, 20th April 2026.
On the 20th April Thistle Lodge No. 8. had a new Commander inducted by the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Tom Quinn. After its conclusion the newly installed Commander was surprised at receiving a field appointment to ProvRAMGR. It was made even more special with Tom giving him the collarette once belonging to recently departed Past Commander of the lodge, W.Bro. Allan Rippon ProvRAMGR.
The Grand Master’s Lodges of Instruction Festival Team then gave the Lecture of the Tracing Board which is rarely seen outside of the festival itself.
In the Mark we had a splendid advancement ceremony which was ably assisted by the GMLol festival team. A fine and convivial festive board followed with 22 diners concluding with port and a dram or two of Glenfiddich.
