Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

£30,000.00 raised by the London Bridges Walk 27th July 2014

What a day we all had walking over the Bridges from Tower Bridge to Big Ben and back in lovely weather all wearing our brilliantly bright yellow T-shirts in support of the mini Bus Appeal.

The day started off early with David James, David Lucas, Tim MacAndrews and Henry Hobson arriving at Potters Field shortly before 9am to be ready for over 100 walkers and get them sorted out with T shirts bottles of water and a map of the route. Fortunately the weather was comfortable then got progressively warmer as we neared the finish at The Horseshoe Inn for a welcome drink and BBQ.

Everyone made it to the BBQ, no-one fell in the Thames and neither the air ambulance nor the Lifeboats had to be called on for assistance.

In the garden of the Horseshoe Inn we were entertained by Curly Howells who had us all singing along and some dancing to a terrific number of Golden Oldies.

What a day it was for the minibus appeal, nearly £30,000.00 was raised by the walkers and their very many Masonic and non Masonic supporters. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed.
