Consecration of Gallipoli Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 12th May 2018
The Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro David Ashbolt R.A.M.G.R led the team in the consecration of the Gallipoli Royal Ark Mariners lodge no. 1984 in a very moving ceremony to the delight of the petitioners taking part and other guests and Provincial Grand Officers present. The Provincial Grand Chaplain, the Rev. Michael Seymour-Jones gave the Oration on the nature and purpose of the Institution outlining it’s principles and tenets. The PGM then welcomed the lodge into the London Province with the hope that it would grow from its current sixteen founders into a thriving lodge, the first step on that journey being the elevation of some twenty new brethren later in the year. The constitution, , dedication and consecration of the lodge was immediately followed by the installation of the primus Commander W. Bro Mahir Kilic and the investiture of the officers, the Deputy PGM W. Bro Tom Quinn R.A.M.G.R taking on the duties of Installing Commander. After all that excitement we adjourned to a champagne reception and most enjoyable festive board.
