W. Bro. Henry Hobson APGM and a discerning delegation of Provincial Grand Officers attended a meeting of Mahajan Lodge on 14th November
The Assistant Provincial Grand Master W. Bro. Henry Hobson accompanied by a number of Provincial Grand Officers attended the November meeting of Mahajan Lodge. In the absence of the Worshipful Master, who was away on a longstanding prior commitment to visit (run) part of the Great Wall of China, the Lodge was opened by the I.P.M. W. Bro. Stuart Ruby.
The main part of the work for the meeting was the Advancement of Bro. Sacha Manzonetta, a martial arts stuntman. W. Bro. Stuart conducted the first part of the ceremony and the second part was conducted by w. Bro. Sanjiv Gohil – both of whom performed accomplished their parts exceedingly well. At the end, however, W. Bro. Sanjiv was at pains to point out to the newly-advanced brother that he was not personally responsible for the Overseers gross dereliction of duty during the ceremony!
After the usual business of the lodge was conducted the brethren retired to the festive board to enjoy a splendid carvery meal and the usual convivial atmosphere one finds at any of our meetings.
