PGM David Ashbolt and a Delegation or Two visit Old Kent TI on Monday 21st June
Old Kent Lodge was very well supported by a good number of Guests from BA TI, and even a guest from Royal Cumberland TI for the visit of our PGM David Ashbolt, along with Charlie (The Mad Axeman) and a very good turnout of active Provincial Officers. The business of the day was to install the new WM, W Bro Carl Nixon this was undertaken in a very competent manner by the outgoing master. A payment to the PGM for the Hope for Tomorrow Appeal of £1150.00 saw them qualify for the Platinum Award and Charlie – Him of great Axemaking fame (and gullibility) ably assisted our PGM David Ashbolt in the Presentation of the Axe – to banter which was enjoyed by all.
This was followed by an excellent Carvery meal and everyone departed happy and replete!!
