Mark Masons' Hall, 86 St. James’s Street, London
Hello,

The Provincial Burns Night Supper at Bournemouth – A night to remember. (Click here to open)

What a fantastic evening. The culmination of a very memorable weekend. The food was gorgeous, the company excellent and throughout the evening there were (almost) too many things going on so that the attention never wandered too far!!

The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro David Ashbolt firstly welcomed everyone and took wine with the most important person there. His lovely wife, Vanda. The usual wine takings were made and the whole evening was controlled by Vinnie’s pal, Tony Gilbert! Thanks were given to W Bro Vince Driver for his organising skills and several bouquets were presented.
The announcement that VW Bro Keith Florence, who stands down as APGM in July, and who would be succeeded by W Bro Tom Quinn, was greeted with great applause, As was the announcement that the new Provincial Grand Senior Warden would be W Bro Clifford Sturt. Both of those brethren having been, and continue to be active in their support of the Mark Degree and the Province of London in particular.

The Haggis was brought into the room to the pipes and was addressed by W Bro Tom Quinn and slaughtered accordingly !! After dinner we were treated to Tom & Eunice’s Musical interlude of songs from Rabbi Burns to Flanders and Swan(ish). Everyone fully enjoyed them. The Raffle was then taken which produced another magnificent sum for the Mini=-bus appeal. Tom, Kim and a couple of co-conspirators then presented the PGM with a four foot Mini-bus Tie Slide, which was well received by all.
The Ceilidh Band Push & Pull took over the festivities and a tremendous fun night was had by all.

BOOK EARLY FOR NEXT YEAR!
